For the past year (March 2025 to March 2026) , I was privileged to train over 550 Senior Officials including the Auditor General on Business Intelligence, Data Analytics and Data Visualization for the National Audit Office of Sri Lanka (NAOSL) with Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration (SLIDA) funded by the World Bank.

Through this training programme I sincerely hope the Sri Lanka Public Sector will be able to drive our country to the next level.

Congratulations to all who successfully completed this programme and my heartfelt gratitude to SLIDA and NAOSL Officials!

Dr. Dhanissara Thera for successfully defending his PhD Thesis on "Comparative Study of the Concept of Leadership in Buddhism and Modern Management".Also I would like to thank Prof. Asanga Thilakarathna, Dean- Faculty of Graduate Studies, NIIBS for inviting me to the Exam Board." The Viva Voce Examination made by candidate (Ven. Dhanissara Thera) of Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies Degree Programme on 30th January 2026 from 10.30 a.m. in Nāgānanda International Institute for Buddhist Studies.

The chair of the panel was Emeritus Prof. Asanga Tilakaratne – Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies. As well as Ven. Dr. Dampe Vijitharathana Thera – Deputy Vice Chancellor and Dean of the Faculty of Buddhist Studies, Prof. Raluwe Padmasiri Thera- Department of Buddhist Philosophy, Postgraduate Institute of Pali & Buddhist Studies, Dr. D.D. Senadheera – Scientific Assistant of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, and Prof. Rangamini Werawatta – Director of the Asia Institute of Advanced Studies and the President of the Association for ICT Professionals, as members of the panel.

The distribution of school supplies for children affected by Cyclone Ditva and floods in Biyagama West was successfully held on 31st December 2025 at Biyagama Ganewatta Purana Viharaya. School bags and shoe vouchers were provided to 65 students from Grades 1 to 9.

The event was organized under the theme “Arya Sathkara” by the Kelaniya Gurukula Vidyalaya Arya Sansada, with the support of the Bauddhaloka Foundation. It was made possible through the generous contributions and cooperation of the Maha Sangha, officials, organizations, and residents of the Biyagama West community.

It was a great honour to be elected as the President of the Standing Committee on Publications,Publicity,Education,Culture & Arts of the World Fellowship of Buddhists (WFB) during the 31st General Conference of the WFB held on 5th-6th December 2025 at Bangkok, Thailand.
I thank the President of WFB, Mr Jagath Sumathipala - President of Bauddhaloka Foundation & Vice President of WFB and all the delegates for voting and electing me. It was a privilege to represent mother Sri Lanka at global stage.

I'm pleased to visit the new building complex at the Faculty of Computing and Technology of the University of Kelaniya. I hope the next generation will put the resources and the faculty to good use.
